Senior Friendly™
Program
The Senior
Friendly™ Program was developed by ACCESS
(funded by Health Canada. The ACCESS
Committee was comprised of a number of
Edmonton organizations that were concerned
with services for Seniors; when the
initiative was completed, Alberta Council on
Aging was approached to take over Senior
Friendly™. ACA recognized the Senior
Friendly™ concept as an initiative that fell
within their mandate and chose to make it
one of their major programs to develop and
promote.
As owners of the Senior
Friendly™ trademark, ACA is responsible for
distributing the program, services ad
resources.
