What We Do
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for seniors and encourage their participation in all aspects of community by educating seniors and the public and by advising government.
Alberta Council on Aging's membership is comprised of groups, individuals and organizations in the province of Alberta. Alberta Council on Aging is Alberta's only provincial non-profit, charitable, non-government umbrella organization representing seniors. Funding is obtained through donations, grants and membership fees.
Founded in 1967, Alberta Council on Aging represents and supports seniors in both rural and urban areas through its province-wide network and committees.
We are actively engaged in the development of publications and programs to improve the quality of life for seniors. We partner with other organizations and businesses in order to carry out our mission.
